FS Blocker is a Windows application with a kernel-level driver that lets you control access to filesystem paths at the process level. Create custom policies to tailor access on your Windows systems.
FSBlocker is installed as an application and file-system filter driver on your system. The file-system filter driver is used to monitor and control access to the file-system and the application is used to configure the driver. Before you can use FSBlocker, you need to configure the driver. Navigate to the configuration view and start the driver. It is recommended that you configure the driver to start automatically when you start your system.
The driver must be attached to a drive before you can use FSBlocker to protect data on that drive. Navigate to the configuration view and attach the driver to the drive(s) you want to protect.
Once the drive is started and attached, you can create a policy to protect the data on the drive. Navigate to the policies view and use the policy wizard to create a policy.
The policy wizard will guide you through the full process of creating a policy to only allow trusted programs access to a selected folder.
FSBlocker will now monitor and control access to the data on the drive(s) you have attached. You can monitor the status of the driver and the policies in the activity and statistics views.
