When upgrading the VA from version 5.1.2 to 5.2 the upgrade progress has been observed to time out resulting in ‘Unable to update’ messages that are actually false. Example sreenshots of messages below:
If these messages are encountered, to monitor when the upgrade has finished
Putty into the VA and log in using the root account
Leave the putty window active, until network connection is lost, due to the VA being rebooted at the end of the update
Once the VA has rebooted, check that it has indeed been successfully updated to version 5.2
