System error 1312 - A specified logon session does not exist

When deploying software to a Windows machine you may see the error

System error 1312 has occurred. A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated.

This is due to the local security policy “Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication”. To fix the issue please enable this policy.

  1. Open the Windows Local Group Policy Editor
  2. Select Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options.
  3. Find and enable the Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication policy

You should now be able to deploy software to your machine.
If you are still unable to deploy software, please contact Cristie Support
