Failed to boot Linux system after recovery due to low memory

Sometime a recovered system will fail to reboot after a successful recovery because of low memory. This can happen when recovering to a different machine than the one that was backed up.

On reboot, the system may show errors such as the below:

timeout waiting for device e.g.

Failed to start services

Issues with swap mounting.

If there is an issue mounting swap, comment it out in maintenance mode.
Check there is enough memory to run the system.

Then boot the system again.

If there are still issues email support@cristie.com and attach the log files from the recovery.
