When running Linux COBMR with Cohesity Block-Based backups, there an extra file required to be generated when the COBMR config (disrec.ini) file is run. To generate this file the flag ‘–cobmr_boot_backup’ should used in the config run or scripts under a pre-script run.
The full config command is:
cobmrcfg --cobmr_boot_backup
The file is called: ‘boot.tar.xz’ and saved in /COBMRCFG. This file should also be backed up (it is by default under the ‘COBMRCFG’ folder).
