If the Administrator Account (or any local VA account) for the VA GUI is locked, it can be reset in the console over ssh.
Log into the VA console over ssh
Run the command
reset_password
Enter the Tenant (default tenant is ‘root’)
Enter the account e.g. administrator
Enter the Password
Log into the VA GUI using the new password.
