Pre-Freeze and Post-Thaw Scripts
When performing a backup on a virtual machine the user has the capability to execute custom scripts either prior to the snapshot or after the snapshot.
In step 4 of the backup job wizard, check the “Enable Scripting” checkbox.
Once you have inputted the username and password, you will be able to upload your custom scripts.
As simple as that, your backup is now set and the scripts will run as configured.
